A late-ripening, excellent year on Mt. Etna, the 2019 vintage produced elegant, structured wines that are not too high in alcohol, with perfect balance between fresh fruit and ripeness. Passorosso is a blend of Nerello Mascalese grapes from different vineyards located at different altitudes on the northern side of Etna. Fine, richly scented with pure red fruit and a touch of licorice and anise on the finish, this is beautiful wine showing all the energy and minerality of the lava soils.
