This lovely estate founded by two famous Burgundians, Jacques Seysses and Aubert de Villaine, produces fresh and appetising organic wines in the cool microclimate of Triennes in the Var region of southern France. Made from an unusual blend of five white grape varieties: Rol, Viognier, Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc and Grenache Blanc which are fermented in stainless steel vats or large oak casks, this wine is aged for a short time in oak barrels. Les Auréliens Blanc has a citrus, floral nose which is inviting and fresh. On the palate there is good acidity with a complexity of fruity and floral flavours. Fresh and pure on the finish with lingering flavours of peaches and pears.
