This Chardonnay is made to please. Delicious aromas of peach, pear and mirabelle plum on the nose, unfurling gently with aeration to lead to pure orchard fruit and fine floral notes of bergamot and almond blossom. Upon tasting, the wine reveals its gourmand character, balanced by a saline, tangy vein which lingers on the palate; the result of Vincent Dienst’s decision to use more concrete amphora in his cellar. This is an excellent wine to enjoy with fish and fresh seafood.
