Château Les Charmes Godard

Francs, Côtes de Bordeaux
Nicolas Thienpont has produced another lovely Charmes Godard made from an unusual blend of 65% Semillon 20% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sauvignon Gris grapes which are fermented in barrels and aged on their lees. There are wonderful aromas of linden, jasmine, mint, and pears in the nose which leads to a very bright, lively wine with great purity and precision. A creamy, generous structure on the palate leads to a fine, mineral, long-lasting finish.
