Château Nénin

Pomerol
0,75
Red
There has been a lot of work done in the vineyards of Nenin ever since the Delon family of Las Cases fame purchased the domain. This year there is 36% Cabernet Franc in the blend, the highest amount ever, and it really lifts the wine and makes it shiny and juicy. On the nose there are aromas of red fruit, sweet plums, pepper and violet and a fine smokiness. The palate is very satisfying with smooth tannins, a velvety texture and a Pomerol generosity. A charming wine which is already very appealing.
