Château Vari (BIO)

Monbazillac

Situated on the chalk and clay slopes of the rolling countryside of Bergerac between two rivers, the Dordogne and Gardonnette, Château Vari benefits from the same climate as the Sauternes. Morning autumn mists and good humidity coupled with a long growing season, enable the noble rot to develop on the grapes, transforming the sweet pulp into concentrated, yellow and brown raisins with great sweetness and intensity. This lovely wine, sold in half bottles, has a warm golden colour and elegant aromas of exotic fruits, pear, mango and red grapefruit. It has good density, fruit salad flavours on the palate and sprightly acidity, which lifts the fruit and balances the sweetness. A really attractive organic dessert wine.
