The sandy, gravel-covered soils in Lalande-Pomerol produced exceptionally beautiful Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%) this year. The winery owned by the Durantou family has been a great favourite in our range for many years. The wine is finely structured with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry. Soft in the mouth with tannins that have already blended well into the wine, making it very drinkable now. (ADR)
