2022, Louis Fabre, Pays d'Oc, Les Mourrels

We really appreciate this delicious, good value organic Chardonnay from the Fabre family who have been making wines in the Languedoc region of southern France since 1605. Their wines are very fruit driven with good purity and character. The 2022 has a lemon yellow colour and is fresh and forthright in the nose with aromas of passion fruit, lychees and mango. On the taste there is good acidic drive which balances the rich fruit, and a touch of spiciness that makes the wine more complex. Good length in the finish. A good, everyday Chardonnay to always have on hand.
