Château Haut-Brion

Pessac-Léognan
Primeur
0,75
White
Made from a blend of 41.9% Semillon and 58.1% Sauvignon, aged in 50% new oak, the wine has a bright platinum yellow colour, a nose which is intriguing with excellent acidity and orchard fruit aromas and fragrant floral scents of jasmine and hawthorn blossom with the aromas becoming more interesting with aeration. On the palate there is a richness and an almost honeyed sweetness which is well balanced by the acidity. There is great mid-palate complexity, freshness and an abiding vein of acidity, spicy dry extract. The finish is driven by lots of energy. Delicious, a great Haut-Brion Blanc.
