This vineyard, situated in the middle of the Pomerol plateau with 4.5 hectares has blue clay or red gravel soils. The 2023 blend is 74% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc, the wine displays a deep purple colour with evident richness and ripe black fruit in the nose; very fresh and inviting on the attack, creamy structure and a complete palette of flavours ranging from dark chocolate to ripe plums and black cherries to licorice and spice. This is quite a full-bodied, classic Pomerol with several layers of flavour and an intensity which lasts through to a long and persistent finish.
