Grande Serène

Red
Made from Sereine grapes (the old name for Syrah and a clone that has smaller berries) this wine has gorgeous freshness and spice on the nose. It is intense and fine, more finely delineated than the fruit found in the northern Rhône with a touch of mango or passion fruit in the mouth. This is a very special wine that is only made occasionally and comes from a parcel of 60-year-old vines which Luc Guénard tends to himself, allowing no-one else to intervene. The wine is very appetizing, soft and fruity with lovely depth and spice. With several years of aging, this wine will come into its own and be exquisite.
